Privacy Policy
Updated 31 October 2026. This policy describes information used by OneFreePlace, its optional accounts, browser tools, advertising and connected services. For privacy questions or requests, contact onefreeplace@gmail.com.
Tools, files and browser storage
Many tools process the text or files you choose directly in your browser. Opening a local file in one of those tools does not by itself upload that file to OneFreePlace. Features that need network services, including online lookups, flight search, sports data and meetings, make network requests. Follow the information on the individual tool before entering confidential material; this policy is not a promise that every feature works offline.
Your browser can store preferences such as language, theme, favourites, recent tools and saved workspace data. Clearing site data can remove these settings and saved work. Installing the web app also allows its service worker to cache website assets on your device. Browser permission prompts control access to a camera, microphone, screen or clipboard where a feature requires it.
Accounts and messages
Optional accounts use WordPress to store account details and the workspace or community information you choose to save. Signing in uses authentication cookies. If you contact us by email, we receive your address and the contents of your message. Do not send sensitive documents merely to report a problem.
Hosting and abuse prevention
Website hosting and network services receive connection information such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser details to deliver pages, diagnose failures and protect the site. Some network tools use temporary request counters to limit abuse. A local country database helps choose language defaults without requiring a precise location. A manual language choice takes priority where supported.
Google Analytics and advertising
The small privacy shield at the bottom left opens Privacy choices. Google Analytics loads only after you choose to allow analytics. Declining analytics keeps its optional cookies off; you can change this choice through the same control. The preference is stored in this browser for 180 days, separately from any advertising consent. Ordinary tools remain available with analytics declined.
OneFreePlace uses Google Analytics to understand site usage and has applied to use Google AdSense to support free access. When enabled, Google and other advertising providers may receive page URLs, IP addresses, device and browser details, cookies and similar identifiers. Advertising cookies can be used to personalise or measure ads based on visits to this and other websites. Ad availability depends on Google's approval and the visitor's applicable privacy choices.
Where consent is required, advertising personalisation and optional storage require an appropriate consent choice. Use the consent message's controls when displayed to accept, reject or manage its purposes and vendors. You can also use your browser's site-data controls and the provider controls below. Blocking cookies can affect saved preferences or sign-in. Consent to advertising is not required to use the ordinary free tools.

Flights, sports and meetings
The Flights page automatically loads search and destination discovery supplied by Travelpayouts and its partners. Those providers receive browser connection information and the travel searches you enter and may use their own cookies. Booking and payment take place with the selected airline or agency, under that provider's privacy policy and terms. OneFreePlace does not collect flight payment-card or passport details.
Sports uses server-side feeds and supported embedded content. Embedded providers receive connection information when their content loads. Favourites are stored on your device. Browser meetings use the connection, media and signalling data needed to connect participants; do not share a private meeting link publicly.
Retention and your choices
Local browser data remains until you remove it or the browser expires it. Account, email, security and transaction records are retained according to their purpose and any applicable obligations. Third-party services set their own retention periods. You can ask about access, correction or deletion of your personal information by email; verification and legal retention requirements may apply. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, withdraw consent or complain to your data-protection authority.
External providers may process information in other countries. Review their policies before using an optional connected feature. We update this page when services or practices change. See also our Cookie Policy, Terms of Use and Contact page.
