Seven columns hold five face-up cards each. Play the exposed bottom card of a column when it is exactly one rank above or below the waste card. Suits do not matter. Draw from the stock when you want a new target.
The best move is not always the first legal card. Prefer plays that expose another card you can continue with. Save flexible middle ranks when they can bridge two directions, and treat Aces and Kings carefully in strict Classic.
