How this shootout rewards skill
Penalty Shootout is designed around readable decisions instead of a hidden coin flip. When you shoot, placement, power and curve all matter. The keeper also learns from repeated directions, so a predictable player becomes easier to stop. When you defend, the striker gives a short body-language clue before the ball is hit. On harder levels the tell becomes shorter and can include a fake, but it never disappears completely.
Attack
- Aim: tap or click anywhere inside the frame. Corners are harder for the goalkeeper but leave less margin for error.
- Time power: the meter moves continuously. Mid-high power is safest; maximum power gives speed but increases spread.
- Add curve: a little curve can move a well-read shot away from the keeper. Move the slider left to bend left and right to bend right; too much curve also increases risk.
Goalkeeping
Watch the striker clue, then tap where you want to dive. You can also use the number keys as a 3×3 goal grid: 7 is high-left, 9 high-right, 1 low-left and 3 low-right. The save calculation rewards choosing the right region and reacting before the ball reaches the net.
