Recommendations first maximize the number of people fully inside working hours, then the number also inside the preferred buffer. Balanced mode breaks ties by keeping meeting midpoints closer to each person’s workday midpoint.
Plan DST-aware meetings across multiple IANA time zones, individual working hours and local weekends. Search up to two weeks, control meeting length and time-step precision, protect edge-of-workday buffers, compare balanced alternatives, inspect local dates and export the selected time as an ICS calendar event.

Only after those two criteria does it minimize each participant’s distance from the midpoint of their work window.
