What this tool can and cannot recover
PDF stores positioned drawing/text instructions, not real spreadsheet cells. OneFreePlace infers rows and columns from text geometry and exposes confidence so you can verify the result. Scanned/image-only pages require OCR and are marked as such; OCR belongs to OneFreePlace tool #232 rather than being faked here. Complex merged cells, charts and vector graphics may need manual cleanup.
