OneFreePlace Tool #297

Video Merger / Merge Studio

Merge mixed video clips locally with per-clip trim and mute controls, drag/reorder workflow, canvas normalization, contain or cover fitting, loudness balancing, synchronized crossfades, and verified MP4 output.

Mixed-source mergeNormalize different resolutions, aspect ratios and audio layouts automatically.
Per-clip trims + orderReorder, trim or mute each clip before joining.
Real transitionsHard cuts or synchronized video/audio crossfades with verified timing.
Add two or more video clips

Add at least two clips.
Local FFmpeg/WebAssembly. Every clip is normalized to a shared canvas, 30 fps and 48 kHz stereo before concatenation or crossfade.
Merge advisorContain mode preserves the whole frame with letterboxing; Cover fills the canvas and crops overflow. Crossfades shorten the final runtime by the overlap duration.

Handles mismatched clips

Different dimensions, aspect ratios, frame rates and audio layouts are normalized into one predictable output canvas instead of relying on fragile stream-copy concatenation.

Clip-level control

Each item can be moved, trimmed or muted independently. The project list is keyboard-accessible and also supports drag reordering on desktop.

Synchronized crossfades

When enabled, video xfade and audio acrossfade use the same overlap duration. Silent clips receive generated silence so the timeline stays synchronized.
