Video Frame Extractor
Turn video into exact frame sequences.
Extract every frame, sample by FPS or interval, pick custom timestamps, and package the results as images, ZIP archives, sprite sheets and machine-readable manifests — without uploading your video.
Your source stays on this device.Common browser-playable formats use the local video + Canvas engine. Production can fall back to OneFreePlace's self-hosted FFmpeg/WASM engine for unsupported codecs.

MP4, MOV, WebM and other formats your browser can decode. For best frame accuracy, use the original source rather than a social-media re-download.

Frames are paged to keep the interface fast. Every extracted frame remains selectable and available for ZIP export.
Every-frame jobs can get huge.A 60-second 30 fps clip contains about 1,800 frames. OneFreePlace estimates the job first and blocks unsafe browser-memory workloads instead of letting the tab crash.
Frame sequence, not screenshots.Images are drawn from decoded video frames at source resolution, without player controls or screen-capture artifacts. Constant-frame-rate sources get frame-grid planning; variable-frame-rate sources are flagged so you can use time sampling or the production exact worker.
Production codec fallback. If a browser cannot decode an AVI, MKV, ProRes or HEVC source, the WordPress build should switch to the self-hosted FFmpeg/WASM worker while keeping the same interface.
