Syllables are speech sounds, not just vowel letters. English uses an exception-enhanced heuristic and flags algorithmic counts for review. Other alphabetic languages use conservative vowel-nucleus heuristics. Korean Hangul blocks and Chinese Han characters can act as useful written-syllable proxies; Japanese is shown as a mora proxy; Arabic cannot reliably expose short vowels in ordinary writing, so automatic counts are not presented as authoritative.

Exports preserve transparency. CSV includes every unique word, frequency, count, method and whether it was manually overridden.
Accuracy note: no general-purpose syllable algorithm is perfect. Pronunciation, dialect, proper names, abbreviations and loanwords can change counts. This tool makes uncertain algorithmic counts visible and editable instead of hiding them behind one total.
