2026 rulebook used

Ordinary-income tax 22%; priority-zone option 18.5%. Personfradrag NOK 114,540. Minstefradrag for salary: 46%, capped at NOK 95,700.

Trinnskatt thresholds/rates: 226,100 @ 1.7%; 318,300 @ 4%; 725,050 @ 13.7%; 980,100 @ 16.8%; 1,467,200 @ 17.8%. Trygdeavgift on salary: 7.6%, with lower threshold NOK 99,650 and 25% phase-in rule.

PAYE mode is only for people who actually qualify for Norway's foreign-worker PAYE scheme. Employer-cost zones are planning inputs and do not model special Zone Ia threshold mechanics.
