Write HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript in a real multi-file browser workspace and see the result beside your code. Add 30+ other language files for editing/export, change the desktop/mobile layout, inspect runtime console output and TypeScript diagnostics, and keep the core workflow local to your browser.
The project runner combines your web files into an isolated preview, compiles TypeScript and JSX/TSX in-browser, performs semantic TypeScript checks, and captures console output and runtime errors without requiring an account.
Use side-by-side editing on desktop, stack the preview below the editor, focus on either pane, resize the split, or switch to phone/tablet preview widths.
Add Python, PHP, Java, C/C++, C#, Go, Rust, Ruby, SQL, Shell, Kotlin, Swift, Dart, Lua, R, YAML, TOML, XML, Dockerfile, Markdown and more. Non-web files are editable and exportable without falsely pretending the browser can execute every language.
Yes. The core OneFreePlace Live Code Studio is designed to work without signup or a paywall. Projects can autosave locally in your browser.
Yes. The core build includes the TypeScript compiler, transpiles TypeScript before preview execution, and runs semantic TypeScript diagnostics against bundled standard-library declarations. Compiler problems are shown separately from runtime console errors.
It accepts and edits 30+ code-language modes. Live browser rendering is intentionally limited to the web stack. Other languages are not falsely “executed” without an appropriate runtime; they remain editable and exportable.
Not by default. The preview uses an isolated sandbox and the Network switch starts OFF. Enable it only when your code needs external APIs, CDNs, fonts or packages.
Create a web file or a scratch/source file in another language. The language is inferred from the extension and can also be selected manually.
